Towards a More Collaborative Transport Economy Report

The initial report of STSG’s review of the collaborative transport economy is now published (collaboration_v1_1). The review reveals that a root and branch review is needed of Scoittish transport legislation, taxation and funding to recognise the major changes taking place in the economy and society.
The future of transport is much more collaborative. The transport sector is uniquely positioned to champion the needs of people and places to lead the transition to new more sustainable systems but is failing.
The report suggests that there is an icreasingly urgent need to redfine transport governance frameworks to enable better future collaboration in the interests of people and places.
